Can I later move license from subdomain to main domain?

I first time purschased a license and installed and activated it on a sudomain like demo.domain.com. Once my client approves site I will move it to main domain domain.com..
So do I need to deactivate license and move site and activate it there?

Yes, if it is one and the same site you can activate the license. The licensee assumes the activation on a staging site and on the final live site.
