I have created a product category called “Recently Sold” which has all my recently sold items in it.
I do this because I sometimes replenish stock, and can then just “re-activate” a sold listing, rather that creating a new one, plus it helps to keep the listing “live” for SEO purposes.
The problem is…those “recently sold” items are showing up in the widget areas for “Popular Products” or “Recently Viewed” in my footer. They also show up in the “Related Products” area, of single product posts.
Is there any way to keep this specific category from showing up randomly in those widget areas?
