Cannot edit shop page with Elementor

I am not able to edit the shop page using the free version of Elementor (cf. screenshot).
I have noticed that this topic has been already discussed in december but if I am not mistaken, the problem has not been resolved.

The shop page is the functional Wocoommerce page and it is not editable. You can create any custom page and insert Product Grid or carousel widget/Product AJAX tabs and configure as per your needs.

Please do not delete the shop page. You can create one more custom page and show it in the menu.
The shop page is a functional page and it is essential for the proper store performance.

I am not sure that I undertstood correctly. I cannot delete the shop page and I cannot edit it using elementor. What you are suggesting is creating a new custome shope page?

Hello,
You can have a shop page (Woocommerce) and you can create a custom page showing as a shop page in menu.
You will have two pages with products: Woocommerce default (not editable) and your custom page with any custom content you need.
