Cannot select brands in layout creator

We have multiple brands in our store which are assigned to products. We would like to differentiate the layout of the product archive page depending on the brand. We have created a separate product archive layout and would like to set the conditions to use it for specific brands, but in the conditions select field for product brands no brands are shown

You can fix it by applying patch # 697459. To do this, go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patcher, find the corresponding patch and click on the “Apply” button. Let us know if it works for you.

Thanks, after installing the patch we can select brands.
One more question: besides selecting individual brands, is it possible to specify a general layout for all brand pages (but which is different from the regular category layout)?

Great to hear the patch resolved the brand selection issue!
Regarding your question, you can set a different layout for all brand pages.
Simply open your Custom Layout, click on Add Condition, and then choose the Brands condition.

thanks, but what I meant is whether we can set a default layout for brand pages without having to select every single brand.

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. layouts cannot be applied to all pages at once — each archive must be selected individually in the layout conditions.

We have investigated this issue further and noticed that the proposed fix was wrong and created confusion. So we have released a new patch for this. Now you need to do the following:
1. Apply patch 700498

Great, thanks. Is there a way to include the brand image / logo in the template so that it is dynamically shown?
Unfortunately the new patch does not work. We have changed all brands, where we want to show a specific layout for the brand to the new settings. But if we activate a general layout for brands, it forces us to select a brand (see screenshot). If we do not provide a brand there, this layout is applied for all brands, although we have a different layout for selected brands.
