Can't Edit Sidebars

I click edit with elementor and it tells me content area not found, must call ‘the_content’ function

Sidebars could not be edited using Elementor. You can only add content using Widgets.

Custom sidebars may be created in Dashboard > Sidebars. As soon as a sidebar has been created it will appear in the list in Appearance > Widgets.
The only way to do a custom sidebar is via elementor.

Hello,

As mentioned in my previous Reply the Sidebar only adds a widget under Appearance >> widgets.

And it cannot be edited using any Page builder.
