chdhesi0ParticipantHi there,
I was just playing around with your awesome menu. I’ve tried to set up some SALES product inside the full-width variant of your menu. There is some useful option like -> HTML blocks on the left side to choose. But It’s not showing me the content from the HTMl block. Content:
<img src="http://trainsaneapp-clone20777.ch.trendhosting.cloud/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Essential.png" alt="" width="819" height="819" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-10637" />
Hmmm, maybe this is the wrong way of doing it? In the docu I can read:
If you want to add widgets or shortcodes (posts, products, images etc.) you can create HTML Block and put itβs shortcode to the Description field.
But there is no Description field so far? Thanks for helping me shortly,
Simon

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
You can enable the description field in “Screen options” in the right top corner on the menu page.
Regards

chdhesi0ParticipantThanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it’s not showing up when I place the HTML snippet inside the description field form the menu element.
Do I need to setup the design option? I really can’t see what I’m doing wrong. There is no HTML inside the sub-menu elements. Is something just not working properly?

Artem TemosKeymasterSorry, but we don’t understand what is the problem from your screenshots. Could you please provide us a link where we can see it?

chdhesi0ParticipantBasically, there is no output in the frontend. I did put the HTML snippet to the description field. But I can not see the image where I’ve placed in the HTML snippet. No data output means no effect to the frontend?!
[html_block id="11872"]
There is simply no HTML in the menu. Do I need to setup this more properly? Or just put the html_block in the description field?

Artem TemosKeymasterProvide us your admin access so we can check it.
Thank you

chdhesi0ParticipantYes, I’ll provide you the credentials. π
May 23, 2017 at 1:26 pm #14245
Artem TemosKeymasterIt seems to work correctly. Please, check it now.
May 23, 2017 at 1:38 pm #14246
chdhesi0ParticipantTo be honest with you -> It isn’t working on the second level or third level. Really did you check it? The interesting thing it’s working on the top level. BUT ONLY if there is no sub-level added to it.
Please check it again. It seems to be corrupted? Very thank you for helping me. What I wanna do is just this here:

Artem TemosKeymasterSorry, but it works only on the first level. Here is a detailed instruction on another topic that should help you create a mega menu dropdown as per our demo http://xtemos.com/forums/topic/how-to-set-menu-to-megamenu-like-your-demo-pages/#post-2607
May 23, 2017 at 1:44 pm #14250
chdhesi0ParticipantHmmm, but even when I add it to the first top level item I can’t see it. π What have I do to setup the menu like in the demo? I’m not checking what I’m doing wrong. It’s really a pain in the ass. Your docu is just too short explained.
May 23, 2017 at 2:07 pm #14255
chdhesi0ParticipantActually, you have to explain that the basic mechanism is to work with HTML blocks to adapt the menu like in the demo. LOL π
May 23, 2017 at 2:08 pm #14256
Artem TemosKeymasterBut it is described step by step in our documentation and on the topic we sent you in the previous message. As an example, we have already set one menu item dropdown. What exactly you can’t do with the menu?
May 23, 2017 at 2:09 pm #14257
chdhesi0ParticipantNow it’s working for me. Everything fine. Thank you!

Artem TemosKeymasterYou are welcome!
