Can't update blog page

Hi there,

When I select my blog page from (Dashboard >>settings >>reading) section, I am not able to add anything to that page via WPBakery tool. Am I just allowed to change the layout from theme options? For example I want to change sorting order bu I can’t do it.

I hope i managed to clear my situation.

Yes, as soon as you set the page as the blog page it becomes a functional page and not editable. If you want to have a page where you show both posts and additional content, create a page and do not set is as a blog page, add the Blog element and your content https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/shortcodes-2/

I tried this and this would solve my problem but If i do that, “blog” on the breadcrumbs is lost. I use Yoast for breadcrumbs. Is there anyway to see “blog” on the breadcrumbs and use custom blog page?

Hello,

You can set the title for the custom page as “Blog” and the functional page which is set as a blog page can be titled in any different way.
