Cant update cart widget

Hi,
I just updated my theme from 5.4 to 5.6.1 and after the update, the AJAX cart is not working.
The console says “cant update cart widget” and the add to cart loader keeps spinning.
The output in the console after clicking add to cart is:
POST https://domain.com/?wc-ajax=add_to_cart 500
This issue is only on category archive page and cart page, it works fine on single product page.

Please suggest a solution.

Okay even checkout is not working. wc-ajax is giving error for all requests.

Please make sure you have updated all the plugins in Appearance > Install plugins.

If the problem remains, deactivate the plugins not related to the theme, and switch to the parent theme.
