Can't update WPBAKERY

We are not able to update WPbakery. We are not comfortable uninstalling and reinstalling as we fear it will break the site, since it is a page builder.

Additionally, it’s not located in Appearance > Install Plugins

That is the problem. So uninstalling it wouldn’t really help us since there is no way to reinstall. When I downloaded the recent version of the theme. It’s not included in the plugins there either.

Please help us out. Thank you.

First of all, please delete the plugins CMB2 and Redux Framework they are no more needed https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/3-x-4-0-migration-guide/

If you have any problems (these problems are often caused by the host security or size max size limitations) you can upload and install via Dashboard > Plugins or FTP.

1. Make the full backup of your site.

2. Deactivate and delete the current version.

3. Upload the new version from your portfolio on this forum.

4. Upload and install.

Do not worry please, such a way of update never brakes the site.

If you have modified the theme files, remove the customization, and check the option to update the plugin automatically. Try to deactivate all the plugins and check. In none helps, contact your host support let them suggest.

We have deleted CMD2 + Redux.

I’m not clear why we can’t update WPBakery Page Builder anymore. We’ve been doing it with every update like clockwork. Then in your 6.2.0 update – it broke and started asking for a license. This is not a security or size issue on our end.

Hmmm…maybe I kept looking in the wrong place this time as I did find the plugins located where they should be “appearance > Install plugins”
