Carrousel on a single line

How do I make products in a category show in carousel on a single line on the home page as well as the furniture store model?

For this purpose use Product Grid/Carousel element. You will find there option Grid or carousel. Provided carousel is enabled, Carousel Settings Tab will appear. There will be the option Slides per view.

Where do I find this option “Grid or carousel”?
In Shop page layout I only have the options “Grid”, “List” or “Grid / List”, “List / Grid”
