Cart empty after login

When customers add products to their cart, and then log in during the checkout process, the cart is then empty.

Steps to recreate:
1. Add product to cart: https://racercollective.com/product/ht-x3-clipless-pedals
2. Proceed to checkout: https://racercollective.com/checkout
3. Login from the checkout page. (see credentials in private content)
4. You will be redirected back to an empty cart. The cart widget is also empty on this screen.

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
