Cart Initially Blank or Becomes Blank After Navigating to a New Page

    Hello,

    I’m experiencing an issue where the cart is initially blank and remains blank after navigating to another page, even after items have been added.
    Issue:

    • The cart appears blank initially (it doesn’t show the empty cart state).
    • Once I add items to the cart, the sidebar shows the correct items, but after navigating to a new page and clicking on the cart icon again, the cart is blank again, even though items were previously added.


    Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

    • Disabled AJAX cart in WooCommerce settings, but the issue persists. The cart still remains blank even without AJAX.
    • Tested with the Storefront theme, and the cart worked correctly without issues.
    • Disabled all plugins (except WooCommerce and WoodMart), but the problem continues.
    • Cleared browser cache, server-side cache, and Cloudflare cache, but the cart still remains blank.
    • No errors appear in the network console when clicking the cart icon, but I did notice warnings related to cookies and layout being forced before the page is fully loaded

    Additional Information:

    • The cart is blank initially, even when it’s empty.
    • After adding items, the cart shows up correctly, but after navigating to another page, it becomes blank again.
    • The cart icon shows an item counter but when clicked the cart is blank.
    • The cart does not show the empty state when it’s empty or after items are removed.

    Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or do you have suggestions for resolving this? Thanks for your help!

    Hello,

    Please deactivate all the third-party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then, activate the third party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

    Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the third party plugins deactivated and share the WP logins details so I can check and give you a possible solution.

    Hi Aizaz,

    I deactivated all plugins except Woocommerce and it still doesn’t work. Please have a look yourself when you get a chance.

    I was able to resolve the issue myself. Turns out my hosting provider (Nexcess) has an option to “Enable WooCommerce Cart Fragments” and it was disabled. Once I turned it on it’s working fine.
