mehdi.tavangarParticipantHi,
On my cart page, when you remove the selected item (image 1), an empty page is displayed (image 2). However, as shown in (image 3) from the demo page, there should be a message indicating that the cart is empty, along with a button or link to return to the store page if needed.Thank you for helping.
Best regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Is there any chance that you could give me access to the dashboard area so I can check the settings there?
Looking forward to collaborating with you!

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Remove the Cart block in the Gutenberg editor – https://prnt.sc/p_4SqVWdBfbL and then define the “Shortcode” element with the
[woocommerce_cart]
value – https://prnt.sc/nYoFj25dax36Kind Regards

mehdi.tavangarParticipantHello,
Thank you for your explanation. I followed the steps you suggested. Unfortunately, there is still an issue:
When a product is removed from the cart, the page initially appears blank, and the “Your cart is empty” message only appears after manually reloading the page.
From a UX perspective, this is not ideal, because most users won’t think to manually refresh the page – so it appears as though something is broken or missing.
I’m looking for a solution that ensures the empty cart message appears automatically after removing the last product, without needing to reload the page manually.
I’d be glad if you could help me out.
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
May I disable a 3rd party plugins and enable the parent/default theme for testing?
I await your response.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
The issue is related to the customizations in the Child theme, you can be sure of that by enabling the Parent theme and rechecking the issue.

mehdi.tavangarParticipantHallo,
I have removed all custom code and settings from my child theme – the functions.php file is currently completely empty. However, the issue still persists.
This means: as soon as I activate the child theme (even without any modifications), the problem appears. If I switch back to the parent theme, everything works as expected.
As you surely know, it’s not practical for me to continue working without a child theme, since I will need it for future customizations.
What would you recommend in this case? Is there a specific configuration or method to resolve this issue related to the child theme – even though it currently contains no custom code?
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Check the cart folder in the Child theme – https://prnt.sc/7XydV4APte_f , try to remove it for testing and let me know. First, remove the empty page – https://prnt.sc/_APZjAQB4yBt then check how it works.

mehdi.tavangarParticipantHello,
Thank you for your suggestion. I’ve cleaned up the file and it’s working now. However, I have an additional question: could you please tell me how I can style the message that is highlighted in red?
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Currently, it is customized via Elementor Pro- https://prnt.sc/rd_7xiJy-M58 so you can either disable those changes or change them.

mehdi.tavangarParticipantHello,
Thank you very much for your support. I have another question 🙂 When I click on “Add to cart” (image 1), the cart page opens (image 2). To continue shopping, the customer has to manually go back to the product or homepage – which is not ideal.
I would like the product to be added to the cart without redirecting to the cart page, so that customers can continue shopping more conveniently.
However, even though I changed the theme settings (image 3), the behavior does not change on the frontend.
Kind regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Disable this https://prnt.sc/Uo9hy1C-KaLn option in the settings of WooCommerce and enable this one – https://prnt.sc/li18zfwM4MTK
Clear the cache and recheck the issue.
