How do I configure the categories in the main widget area?

I add a photo to what I mean, the categories that appear there, I don’t know where they appear from.

I saw the screenshot you attached.

The categories in the sidebar are coming from the shop page widget area under Appearance >> Widgets.

Yes, I know the categories coming since widgets but, I want to know how I choose which categories appear or how I change the current categories.

I attach 2 pictures one is such as my site is currently and the other is such one site has her categories like a check box. Is it possible? and How do I do that?

I saw the screenshots you attached.

Sorry but the multi select checkbox option is not available for the categories widget. It seems that the user made some customizations to achieve it.
