Categories Link 404

Hi there,

i have two problems and i tried to find any Documentation on your site but i could not make it!

1. When I click on a category on the Shop page, instead of listing only the products of the category it takes me to a 404 page.

How can I turn off the link option for the Categories and keep only the product listing active on the Shop page?

2. When I click on a category in the category menu, it also takes me to a 404 page and it only needs to take me to the Shop page and display the products that are in the selected category.

Please help me to solve this out because my Client do not want something like that!

Please check how the category links work with the default wordpress theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not.

I’m afraid that if I do what you’re asking, something will be additionally disrupted on the site, and the site is already live…

Can I ask you to do that testing with the wordpress theme?

You have to check it with the default wordpress theme first. If you can’t do it live then check on the staging site.

I know what you told me to do but I asked you for help because I don’t have an identical staging site and I’m not sure I would do it correctly!

Does that mean I can’t count on your help and have to fend for myself?

i do not want to build staging site i just want to remove links from category icons in Category menu and from icons in Shop page, as i sent you pictures earlier.

Every product category has its own link and i do not want that link on my Shop page category icons and in Category menu.

There has to be some other solution for such things!

Problem was the RankMath.
