Categories page Issues

Hi,

In the layouts, I created a page for the categories, but it didn’t look exactly how I wanted.
Firstly, the url had the slug “woodmart_layout”, example:
https://induplano.linkandgrow.app/woodmart_layout/categories-archive/
Is it possible to change “woodmart_layout” to “shop”?

Another thing I would like to happen is that after clicking on a parent category, the redirection is made to the store page with that category selected, and what happens at the moment is that after clicking on the parent category it redirects to the subcategories.

Is there any way that after clicking on a category the redirection is made to the store, without having to exclude all subcategories in the layout conditions?

Thanks for reaching to us.

You can not remove the woodmart_layout from the layout URL. It is the custom post type of the theme and it will always show like this. it will not show on the frontend, it only shows when you view the Layout which you have added on the backend, it will not show on the frontend for the users.

So if the link /woodmart_layout/categories-archive/ only shows on backend, whats the link for the front end?
I tried to open the link https://induplano.linkandgrow.app/woodmart_layout/categories-archive/ on incognito page and i am redirected to home page.

And what about the this questions:

Yes, it is only url structure of WoodMart layout post type.

For e.g: https://induplano.linkandgrow.app/woodmart_layout/categories-archive/ This layout is built for categories archive, so if you visit product category, it will shows that layout.
