    Hi support team,
Is there an easy way to show the categories tree as a filter?

    Similar to this site
    https://woocommerce-products-filter.berocket.com/woocommerce-products-filter-demo-2/

If not, can you recommend a plugin which works well with the woodmart theme?

    Thanks

    Hello,

You need to set parent categories in every category to make such a tree, you can find the option in Products > Categories > Edit.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Hello,

Your question is not clear enough.

I am checking the shop page and I see categories hierarchy: https://gyazo.com/d6af24a1949bc528d2812e475f20cc48

    Please clarify

    Hi Elise,
Sorry for not being clear enough. We are looking for a way to have a multi select option with the product categories. In the screenshot it is possible via checkbox to filter more than one product category.

If this is not possible from woodmart theme, can you recommend a plugin which works fine with the them.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Please check the Product category widget in Appearance > Widgets > Shop page widget area and enable the option to show hierarchy: https://gyazo.com/e85224e93448d735abecf21dd43999dc

    Hi Elise,
we are using the product categories with that setting already. Again, how can we add checkboxes inside that hierarchy to make multi-select (filtering) possible?

    Hi Elise,

Before we going to the process of building up a staging site to give you access, can you please let us know if this is even possible with the standard woodmart filters. Currently we are testing an other additional plugin for that but the question is: Is it possible to have a checkbox to each of the categories with the standard woodmart filters (similar in the video)?

    Thanks

    Hello,

The Product categories widget is the Woocommerce functionality and it does not have the checkbox by default: https://gyazo.com/5e84c9fe128746c8bb314de0f66b5e16

WoodMart does not have its own Product categories widget.

You would better find a plugin.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Hello sg5,
I’d like to know which plugin you chose.
I can’t believe that woodmart doesn’t support such basic functionality. The widget ‘WOODMART WOOCOMMERCE LAYERED NAV’ support attribute perfectly, it is difficult to categories?

    Hi Jason,
Yes it would be good if Woodmart has that included!

I am currently playing around with FilterEverything(https://filtereverything.pro) – there is also a free version.

    Hello,

WoodMart WOODMART WOOCOMMERCE LAYERED NAV widget is the attribute filter a bit visually customized it works on the shop page and product categories pages.

At the same time, it is based on the default Woocommerce functionality and it does not work on other pages.

If you need filters on other pages you would better use custom filters: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/how-to-create-filters-form/

    Best Regards
