Categories widget doubt

Hello,

We have a doubt about categories widget. When we choose a category it disappears with our top image, while if we use attribute widget works with ajax and load in the same page. How can we do the same with categories widget?

I have visited your website. It seems that you have used separate header for the shop page and use the image in there that’s why it is displayed like that.

Please disable the header you added to the shop page then check back this will fix the issue.

Right, but we would like to have a header image to stay consist with the rest of the site.

Do you have any ideia how to do it other way?

We have another header images all pages. In shop page, When we use second dropdown to filter the products works very well using ajax the same page. You could have this function too with categories dropdown. It can be excellent! This widget is by woocommerce default.

Now it’s complicated to get other way to do it.

Hello,

Basically the shop page is an archive page and it’s controlled by WooCommerce and you could not modify the page as you did.

Then the categories pages will be loaded like loaded in your case. Unfortunately, there is no other way to accomplish what you are trying to make.

We will keep your suggestion in mind and forward it to the development department and if they found it necessary then it will be added in the near coming update of the theme.
