Category description without disabling layout for product archieve

Hi,

I have a layout for product archieve but I believe it overrides WP page system, and it does not show category description when I add description via product category. Upon disabling layout for product archieve, category description shows up but I lose adjustments on layout so I do not want to give up on the layout.

Is there any way I can display category description without disabling layout for product archieve? I need a solution that will not be deleted via any theme or wp update. Thanks

problem has been solved by adding archieve widget to layout. thanks.
