Category Filters Hierarchy

Am I able to edit / change the way the side category filters on the shop pages show the categories?
I would like it to display the main category and sub a categories that the current page / sub category belongs to. See my ideal idea via the image attached. As currently the user cant navigate back to the main category menu when on a sub category

I don’t want to show the whole of the sites categories in a big list, just the FULL Hierarchy for this section / category

Hello,
Navigate to Appearance > Widgets and find Product Category widget http://prntscr.com/m9njg3 add it to the Shop page widget area.
As you see there are options to “Show hierarchy” It means that your categories will be displayed from parent to child categories in deep, provided you have arranged your categories accordingly. https://gyazo.com/dbfc198e5f5af23ef7ced45494110247

Thanks I know how to do this, but my burdens category that the user is on is maybe halfway down the page of a big long menu. Anyway to get it to be at the top as the first category? For better user experience?
Sorry, but there are no other options in that widget. Maybe the option Only show children of the current category will be suitable for you.
