Category icons stretched

The category icons suddenly and without any reason got stretched on the Desktop and mobile version of site, and it really leaves a bad impression.

I tried to restore them to their original state, but I did not succeed.

Is there any way to solve this through CSS code or is there an easier way?

The client uses the WP Rocket plugin

This is because through inspect I got to the css file located in the woodmart folder on the cpanel and there I made a correction, i.e. I added the max-width and assigned a value of 40px, because for some reason it was not there.

Can this be solved through custom css in the woodmart theme settings or does it have to be the way I did it?

The Icons generally don’t show like the messed up that you have referenced but you don’t need to do any modification directly in the Theme file in this regard. If you want to paste the Custom CSS then you can paste it under the Dashboard >> Theme Settings >> Custom CSS >> Global CSS section > there you can paste your CSS if you want.

So, try to remove the modification from Theme file and add in the above said location under Theme Settings.
