Category not working. (category display type does not work on default)

Hello team,

Please find an issue I have encountered below. Could you please help?

I created a product with the below structure.

Category
     Sub-category
          product

Please see the below, Sony TV is the product I created.

Electronics
     Smart TV
          Sony TV

The sony tv is available in Smart TV and Electronics categories.

Here is my analysis using the parent category – ELECTRONICS.

When the display type is set to DEFAULT and I visit the electronics category URL, it is blank.

When the display type is set to BOTH and I visit the electronics category URL, it shows the sub-categories alone. That is SMART TV categories and the rest.

When the display type is set to PRODUCTS and I visit the electronics category URL, it is blank.

When the display type is set to SUBCATEGORIES and I visit the electronics category URL, it shows the sub-categories alone. That is SMART TV categories and the rest.

Ideally, a category should show all products in it and also products in its subcategories.

Please help.

NOTE: I carried out this same analysis on the SMART TV subcategory and I observed the URL is blank for all the scenarios mentioned above.

I found what the problem is now I need your expertise in fixing it.

It looks like WOODMART theme considers a number of post types like;
Posts, pages, portfolio, product (woocommerce), etc.

However, my woocommerce products are lotteries and are added using a different post type called LOTTERY. (see attached image)

I noticed that when I change the post type to products, the product appears properly when its categories are visited. Everything works fine. But they don’t when post type is LOTTERY.

Please help. I plead with you, guys, please don’t say you can’t support me on this category of issue. I would sincerely appreciate your support at this point in time.

Please ignore this ticket.

I found out it was coming from the lottery plugin checkbox setup
Do not mix lottery and regular products on shop page. Just show lottery on the lottery page (lottery base page)

I disable it and it is fine now.
