Category Sub Menu – Open In Line

Hi Guys,
How do I make the sub menu items for the left category menu open in line with each item hovered over? Setting the sub menu sizes or making it “Full Width” will always open the submenu full screen.
The reason I need this is because my left category menu list is very long. If the user is hovering on an item near the bottom of my category menu then they need to scroll back up to see the sub Items. I want the sub items to open in line with what ever menu line item they are hovering on.

Unfortunately, there is no option to make the sub-menu items for the left category menu open in the same line with each item hovered over.
