Hi there. We love your theme so far. We have rankings on certain URLS and when we changed from our old theme to woodmart, the url changed on our brands.

Now we have https://oursite.com/product_brand/brandname/ where we need it to be accessible at https://oursite.com/brand/brandname/. I’m not sure why https://oursite.com/brand/brandname/ isn’t working. Can you help?

Also, the brand page needs a title – is there a part of the template we can modify to display a title at the top of the brand pages?

As we can see, your current brands’ implementation is not a part of our theme. Looks like they come with some of the installed plugins or custom PHP code.

Okay, i’ll try to look into that. In the mean time, can you please send me a resource about your recommended brands implementation?

Sure, you can read our documentation on this matter https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/how-to-setup-brands/

Okay, I have copied all the brand custom taxonomies over to an attribute called ‘Brand’ with slug ‘Brands’ that is now assigned as the woodmart product brand attribute.

Now how can I make oursite.com/brands/some-brand-name go to a brands page?

    Thank you.

You need to check the “Enable archives” option for your brand attribute and it will create attribute pages in the same way it works with categories and tags.

Thank you for your assistance. We solved this, for now, with a simple pass-through redirect. Can you please tell me where in the theme we can add a heading to the top of attribute archive pages?

It should be already there if you have enabled the option we wrote in our previous reply https://gyazo.com/a68d398fa56bb4dbc0c67a79dc09c712

Which previous reply? If you visit for instance the link hidden here; where is there a template file that i can add a h1 tag for example (whether logic is needed or not, which file is to be modified??)

As we can see, you hide the page title completely from the page. You can turn it on in Theme Settings -> Page title.

So i tried that already, and it only put the title on the home page, and maybe some other pages, but not the custom taxonomy page listed in hidden below. Will this always be absent a title regardless of any settings? Are there not any template files we can modify to add this?

Could you please temporarily switch to the parent theme and disable installed plugins so we can check what is wrong with the page title?
