change color of font and background to "browse category" menu

i want to change background category SUBMENU background color to black and font to white (like MENU) (look screenshot).
What i must do ?

1. Each sub-menu item (https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/create-menu/) is a HTML block (https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/html-blocks/) Enter the HTML block which relates to this item, change the background as shown on the screenshot http://prntscr.com/l3g46t and insert classes. Then let me know I will provide custom CSS to change the text color.

Your theme is perfect!!!
But, i couldn’t do that. i tryed more and more… but i couldn’t do it.
Can you do for me only the first menu i sent you in new screenshot for me and i will make the other alone. I want this menu, with black background and white font + one photo in right of menu.

Add this code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS:

I follow your instructions.. I make a html block names “mymenu” and i make the menu (last) names “My menu” but i have a problem :
1. I want this menu WITHOUT “hot categories” menu.
For example i want this : My menu–> Dresses, blouses & Shirts, T-shirts, Tank tops
and not : My menu–> HOT CATEGORIES–> Dresses, blouses & Shirts, T-shirts, Tank tops

2. the color not works…

my site works if you want to connect.

Please deactivate all the third parties plugins not related to the theme. I have configured one menu item, however, one of the plugins cut the functionality of our theme. Now I am working with the last item of the menu. http://prntscr.com/l4alk0

I will finish and you will use the template for others menu items.
