Change default sorting of shop page and archives

    Hi,

    Right now my shop page and category archives are sorting products alphabetically. Since there are almost 1000, this isn’t ideal.

    I’d rather them be shown randomly or by date. Is there any way to change this in the settings or would I have to edit the post query in the theme files for archives?

    Hi,

    You can set the order for your products on the shop page in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display.
