Change Mailchimp Input Box Color

Hello,
I am adding a newsletter sign-up box at the bottom of my site. In the following image you can see what it currently looks like. I want to change the background from grey to white.

The problem is that the input box with the “enter your email” part is in white. How do I change his without paying for a mailchimp subscription?
