change "sold out" to "sold"

is there a function I can use to change the “sold out” label text to “sold”? thank you in advance!

But it is the same as translating it. You can use this simple plugin to translate or simply edit such texts in any plugin or theme installed on your website. Moreover, you will be able to remove this plugin after you will change all the necessary words.
