Change the background of the website

How can I change the entire website background?
Either in one color or (preferably) with an image file.
So everything that is white should be e.g. beige (see JPG), also in the area on the right and left.

You can set the background in the Theme Settings > Styles and colors > background for the content. The Footer background is configured in the Theme Settings > Footer.
