How can I change the brands in the footer?

Hello,
Brands in the pre footer are coming from the Attribute >> Brand.
If you want to change or add items that you can from Products >> Attributes >> Brand >> Configure items.

I understand what you mean. I am using the dutch word for brand “merk” and I have an other name in attributes>>merk>> configure items. Where can I change the link so I can see the dutch merk/brands in the footer?

I saw the screenshots you attached.
Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available to change the attribute for the brand carousel it only works for the brands attribute.
