Change variation image shown based on filter selection

Is it possible to show variation images based on filters?
For example if color blue is selected, show all variations that contain blue and select that variation image to be displayed OR show the blue variation as a single product (just when filters selected).

I am afraid this is not possible.
Woocommerce does not provide the option and WoodMart functionality is based on the default functionality of Wooocommerce.

An alternative would be to show variations as single products and when a user filters then he could see all blue variations. So for example, the shop would show all variations grouped, but when a user filters, he should see only the specific color variation as a result, is that possible?

it is not possible to show a variation as a single product after filtering. You can either create them as a separate product or keep them as a variable product by default.

Would a plugin that does that conflict with Woodmart? Provided that it affects just Woocommerce functionality.
