Changes are not saved in "Theme Settings"

1: I go to “Theme Settings”, option General, I want to upload the favicon
2: I upload the image and click “save options”
3: Once clicked on “SAVE OPTIONS” I get that message page not found and CHANGES ARE NOT SAVED

And this happens in all the options of the “THEME SETTINGS”

Why did that happen? I need your help solving the problem.

If I enter any option of the “theme Settings” and make a change when I click on “SAVE OPTIONS” it sends me to the 404 error page and the changes are not saved.

In most cases, this issue may be connected to the PHP max input vars limit parameter in your web server configuration. You can check the current value for this parameter in your Dashboard -> WooCommerce -> System status. Usually, this parameter is not allowed to be changed on shared hostings so you will need to contact your server providers and ask to increase this limit. Recommended value for this is 10 000
