    Hi,

I recently switched from the WowStore plugin (which previously controlled my product and shop page layouts) to using the default Woodmart theme functionalities.

    The problem is:
Whenever I change settings in Woodmart (for example, editing the product page layout or other theme options), nothing changes on the frontend.
Even after deactivating the WowStore plugin, the issue remains — and additionally, the “Thank You” page after purchase is now missing.
Also all the images wont appear on the store.

Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

Woodmart settings are saved correctly in the backend.

    WowStore is fully deactivated.

    Cache has been cleared.

The site is using the default Woodmart theme, no custom builder.

It seems like some pages or templates are still being controlled by something other than Woodmart, even though WowStore is no longer active.

Any idea what might be causing this or how I can force Woodmart to fully take over the layout and restore the default Thank You page?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

    1. I have added and simple text block and it appears on the frontend – https://prnt.sc/-QmD9GBqsTkL , please clarify which exact changes are not working on the product page.

    2. May I disable 3rd party plugins and enable the parent/default theme for testing?

    Kind Regards

    Hi Luke,

    Thanks for your response.

I think there may have been a misunderstanding. The issue is not that no content appears — but that changes made via the Woodmart theme settings (e.g. product page layout, elements visibility, etc.) are not reflected on the frontend, as if the theme options are being ignored or overridden.

This started after switching from the WowStore plugin to Woodmart. WowStore is now fully deactivated, but it feels like its settings or templates are still affecting the site in some way.

You’re welcome to test by disabling 3rd party plugins and switching to the parent/default theme as long as everything is restored back to the current setup afterwards, and ideally with a note on what caused the issue so I can learn from it.

Thanks again for looking into this, much appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    Stijn

    Hello,

    1. You have enabled the product layout – https://prnt.sc/Lmf4463ThBmy , in this case, not all settings can be applied from Theme Settings, some of them can be applied via the Layout itself.

    E.g., elements visibility – https://prnt.sc/LIYdj2bSD2XX -> https://prnt.sc/jWtSLm2Wmqw2

You can tell me which element you hid before in the settings so I can test it whether it hides or not. But as you can see in the example above, it works. Also, do not forget that you use a cache plugin, after making some changes, do not forget to clear it.

    2. After defining the default shortcode from WooCommerce – https://prnt.sc/NVOcv6AMwSge , the default Thank you page started to work – https://prnt.sc/pseNNIoxAFPQ

    I await your response.

    Kind Regards

    Hello,

    1. This https://prnt.sc/worLZP-EUKSf plugin affects those images and text on the slider. Disable it, and recheck the issue.

    2. In the settings of the product, I have defined the FBT bundle – https://prnt.sc/Nfjyey3ZAlLB then cleared the cache and it shows on the product page – https://prnt.sc/YaSuyhC9TxnK

    Kind Regards
