Changing Child theme to Parent theme

Hi,
Currently child them is activated and we want change this to parent theme with the existing setup. Is there any concerns to change ? What are challenges to do this and what impact will happen on existing live site ?
Please assist on this ASAP.

Hello,
Switching from the child theme to the parent theme is generally safe.
There will be no impact on design, content, or theme settings. The only risk is if you have custom code or template overrides in the child theme—those will be lost.
