Changing Product Category Hover Effect

I would like to know if its possible to change the hover effect for the categories on my main page
I want the picture the fade in front left with a colour and text

Thx for the reply Elise, options are limited under category styles. I want the category to grey out with custom text on it. Eg. A grey slide in from the left with the word “shop”. Hope it makes sense
You’ll see in the attached example, the word “shop” move in from the left over the image

Hello,
Categories element display category title and you cannot insert “shop”. You can consider Promo banner or Infomation box. You will be able to insert any title and assign any link.

Hi, I was wondering if there is an option in the category style that shows the category title when hovered. I search in
Theme settings>>Product Archive>>Categories Style but could not find anything.
So, I want something like image7. I have 3 categories but only is shown “Ferreteria” due to the hover option.

Unfortunately, there are no other styles for the categories except those that you see in Theme Settings.
