cesaicumparParticipantHello! I am trying to edit the mobileNavigation.js file. However, even if I delete the whole code, the website doesn’t change. I’m using the child theme so I assume this is the cause. But where should I edit the file in order to see the changes on the website?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate all the plugins except these ones:
Slider Revolution
WPBakery Page Builder or Elementor
Woodmart Core
Contact Form 7
MailChimp for WordPress
WooCommerce
Safe SVGIf the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.
In case, the problem remains, even after all the plugins are deactivated, provide your site admin access (insert the site credentials into the Private content block under the message area) and confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, switching to the parent or default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back, however, the site would be without plugins for 15-20 min. You would better make the full backup of your site.
Best Regards

cesaicumparParticipantIt doesn’t work, unfortunately. I am specifically talking about MobileNavigation.js. I also tried deleting the minified code, but the front-end still works the same.
The website is backed up. I will leave the login details below.
Also, switching to the parent theme will probably work. But I’m trying to change the js code and also use the child theme at the same time, not the parent theme, so this is not a solution.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
We do not provide customization, unfortunately. You need to find a developer who would customize the file correctly as per your needs.
If you want to remove the mobile menu from the Header, you can do that in the Header Constructor in the responsive view of the Header: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/header-responsive-settings/
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

cesaicumparParticipantI don’t want you to provide costumization, I want you to tell me why changing the theme files doesn’t change the child theme.
I want to modify the mobile menu myself, but changing the code doesn’t do anything.
You recommended me the child theme, now tell me how to fucking use it.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You need to add the custom PHP code to the functions.php of the child theme in Appearance > Edit theme.
You can find more details here: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/
If you need to add JS code, you need to add it to the Theme Settings > Custom JS.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

cesaicumparParticipantBut this is not what I asked.
I want to edit the existing mobileNavigation.js file, not to add extra code.
