I changed settings under “Single Product” > “Elements”:

My problems:
– The breadcrumb does NOT appear right above the product summary.
– I enabled the short description. The short description does NOT appear anywhere.

The thing is that the “Megamarket” demo uses the Layouts functionality for the product page, therefore you should make changes for the product page via Dashboard -> Layouts -> Single product. Also, you should define an appropriate element for showing the short description.
