Checkou: no paypal button and no checkbox

Hi,
after the cart there comes the checkout, right? Two things are missing:
1. the paypal button
2. the checkbox for “zahlungspflicht bestellen” which is neede in Germany, I think this checkbox will be provided from the plugin “german market”.

Could you be so nice and tell me why it wont be rendered and help me to integrate both?!

ok, the button appears, well done. What has caused the problem?
What´s about the missing checkbox? Could you pls investigate ist and tell me why its not displaying correctly?

What about positioning of the button? it looks not good outside the layer. And why the background of the “recipt” is broken? It should be allover grey and not only at the begininge and the end where an image does the job.

The issue was in the incorrectly defined shortcode for the Checkout page.

2. May I enable the default theme to check whether that checkbox is shown there? Because even without the Layout, I cannot find that checkbox.

I enabled everything back as it was before (plugins, layout) , you can recheck. Currently, the developers are investigating this issue with the checkbox so as soon as I receive an answer, I will let you know.

Having studied this problem in more detail, we see that the German Market plugin with the default theme overwrites the checkout template to add its custom code, and unfortunately in our theme the checkout template is also overwritten. In this case, by default, this field with the checkbox cannot be displayed with our theme. In this case, to solve this problem, you need to add the following code to the child theme and check:

	do_action( 'woocommerce_de_checkout_payment' );
});

thanks for the code. I´ve integrated it in the child themes functions.php but i cant see the checkbox.

More (checkbox-)questions:
1. if i choose “Direkte Banküberweisung ” which means prepayment by bank transfer, why is there no “buy now” button or anything else.
2. There should be a checkbox to secure that the customer allows his data to be passed on to the shipping service provider. This is not possible in Germany without it. I have just checked out with Paypal, but only the error message is shown (see screenshot), unfortunately the checkbox is not displayed.

General urgent topic: After you or your Colleague altered some things the main navigation (categorys) isn´t working anymore. I cant navigate the shop categories. Pls rebuild that functionality.

haha, thats the case when different people work on the same thing. I switched back to the wm child theme and the checkboxes are there. They are on the wrong place, i think they should render befor the paypment checkboxes. AND there´s an odd behaviour with everything doubled. Pls check Screeshots.

I had a look at another store of mine. I had done this a long time ago. In Germany, the button “zahlungspflichtig bestellen” appears at the end of the checkout and after clicking on this button you are redirected to Paypal, provided you have selected Paypal as your payment service provider. If you have selected prepayment, clicking the button simply takes you to the thank you page or order confirmation.

I have now chosen a different checkout dialog because it looks much better. Please be so kind and make sure that the “zahlungspflichtig bestellen” button is also there when selecting Paypal, because in Germany the checkout is obligatory with the “zahlungspflichtig bestellen” button. Not through a Paypal button. Since Woodmart is so highly praised in German-speaking countries, this should also be possible. To be honest, I’m a little surprised that it doesn’t just work out of the box.

Do what ever it needs to archive the goal to get the checkout conform to german law.
If this takes longer than the end of your shift, please restore the current status. Styling the typography is so tedious with the forum here that I got someone to do it for me. I already have a time problem as it is and making the normal store function takes so long that I can’t finish and have to take the work with me on my only annual vacation. I am now unsure whether Woodmart was the right decision. I thought there would be styling problems. But the fact that it’s taking so long for the store to run properly under German law is a bit surprising.

1. When you select the PayPal payment method, the “zahlungspflichtig bestellen” hides on the default theme as well, so this is not something caused by our theme.

Also, the plugin that you use – “German Market” is not designed for layouts. And we are trying to do our best to make it work.

Why should it not work with woodmart?

Thats what “Greman Market” wrotes about themes:

The Checkout page functionality is provided by WooCommerce itself. When a customer selects the PayPal payment option, WooCommerce automatically hides the ‘Place order’ button – this behavior is built into WooCommerce’s core functionality. You can enable the default WooCommerce Storefront theme and check how it works there, if it works in another way on the default theme, let me know and we will see what is the best solution.

I have found the solution. The “order with obligation to pay” button is placed by the Paypal payment plugin (not the standard Paypal plugin, that one is called “Zahlungs-Plugins für PayPal WooCommerce”). It was a simple checkbox to select whether the paypal button or the “order with payment” button is rendered.
