Chiled Them don’t override files

Hello,
I want to change the text (Search for products -> Search) on the fille search.php
If i change the text on the main Theme: woodmart/inc/modules/search.php , it change correct on the site.
I am copping this file to the Child Theme: woodmart-child/inc/modules/search.php.
If i am trying to change the text on the Child Theme it doesn’t change on the site.
Why is this happening?

Make sure that you have activated the child theme via Appearance -> Themes.

I suggest you change this search text with the help of Loco Translate. After installing, navigate to Loco Translate -> Themes -> WoodMart -> enter keywords and change it (more detail on the below screenshot).
