choice of cross-sell products

hello!
in my product page, I have a problem with cross-sell products (related products): currently they are recommended by the system, I think, however it also shows products that I don’t want to show.
I tried to put some products in cross-sells (in related items, under up-sells) but I don’t see them, I still see the ones recommended by the system, which are random items.
The problem is that these don’t fit, I need to choose which products to show.
Is it possible to set them manually, like you do with up-sells?
Or, alternatively, make it so that products without category are not shown among cross-sells?

By default, WooCommerce automatically recommends related products based on categories and tags. However, cross-sell products are only shown in the cart page, while up-sells appear on the product page.

To manually control related products on the product page, WooCommerce does not provide a built-in option.

You need to find a third-party plugin to achieve more functionality that best suits you.
