Clash with Finale from XL Plugins

Hi Support

I am having a problem with the Woodmart theme and Finale plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/finale-woocommerce-sales-countdown-timer-discount/

The issue is that the controls and effects from the plugin are not showing.

I logged a call with Finale, and support from XLPlugins has stated it is a problem with CMB2 and Woodmart that could be causing the problem.

I am not getting any console errors, and my client is going bit crazy.

We have a staging site and the credentials I shared with you on last ticket will work on there.

Kindly advise on how we can fix this?

The CEO from the Finale Plugin has offered to be in on the conversation, so I will CC him on any responses I get.

Hello,

Try to change the file woodmart/inc/third-party/cmb2-conditionals/cmb2-conditionals.js and replace this line

CMB2ConditionalsInit( '#post', '#post .cmb2-wrap' );

with this one

CMB2ConditionalsInit( '#post .cmb2-wrap', '#post .cmb2-wrap' );

Be sure that you cleared your browser cache. If it will not help, please, provide us your FTP access and detailed instruction on how to reproduce the problem so we can check it.

Thank you for your continued assistance.

I can confirm that the plugin works perfectly on the cloned staging site, with the theme changed to Twenty Seventeen.

You can verify this by logging into both sites (I have given both in this ticket – login is same for both) and go to XLPlugins->Finale.

In the primary site, editing a campaign reveals almost no options in the plugin.
In the staging site, all options are available.

I have checked again with the plugin developer, and he says they depend on the theme framework, and there is something still not right in the theme. He said the fix was partial.

So, please can you take a look at this?

Sorry about the line – really thought I had done it – but it should definitely be done now as I re-ftp’ed the file. Issues persist.

Anyway, to troubleshoot, login to https://legwear.co.za/wp-admin with supplied credentials.
In another tab, login to https://legwear.co.za/staging/wp-admin with same credentials.

Go to XLPlugins->Finale->and edit the 1st campaign. Not the options available in staging vs. live. Staging is on Twenty Seventeen and displays options. Live is on Woodmart and does not display all options.

That is the issue – we need to be able to change the settings on the live site, using the Woodmart theme.

We checked both websites and don’t see the problem

Also, I see someone had re-enabled Woodmart theme on staging – I have reverted.

As we can see, this plugin uses a similar script that conflicts with our theme. Try to remove that line completely.
