‘Clear’ variable option missing at products

Hi,

The ‘Clear’ option is missing from products when using variable products.
It’s available at the dummy products from the installation, but not in any new products.

Please check how it works with the default WordPress theme or Woocommerce StoreFront theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not. Also, please check the site with our theme but only with the theme default plugins activate, and deactivate all the 3rd party plugins from the site.

If it works fine with the default WordPress theme or Woocommerce StoreFront theme then I will check it further.

I don’t understand – you want me to troubleshoot if the error is at your end? And only then you’ll check further?
I bought and paid for support so please to the necessary investigation.

Furthermore this shouldn’t be necessary as the dummy products DO HAVE the ‘Clear’ option – it’s only the newly created products. Hence it’s not the theme as the option clearly works – just not with new products.

Sorry for all the earlier inconvenience caused.

Firstly, to confirm this issue at the Theme level, we have confirmed from the Test Site after creating a new Variable Product, the Clear selection was appearing fine. You can see for yourself too: https://blackpearlspro.com/woodmart_support/product/new-variable-product/

So, this eventually clears the fact that it is not an issue at the Theme level.

On your Site, we created a Test Variable Product too and on that the Clear was appearing fine too. Here is the Product URL: https://www.goatfunctionalgear.com/vare/test-product/

So, there might be some issue at your Product creation or there is some issue at the WooCommerce end Settings on your Site. Could you please once contact the WooCommerce Support in this regard and see what they have to say about this and then mention us so that we can proceed accordingly.

The issue remains.
Our other site uses the same WP, hosting setup and computer – but another theme. The clear options works perfectly; https://shop.rxdevents.dk/shop/gear/jumpropes/speed-rope-cable/

Also it makes absolutely no sense that you are able to log on to the account a easily make a working test product – but when I either A) edit your test product the clear option disappears og B) if I create the most simple product, that the clear option never shows.

As it works with another theme at the same settings it has to be a theme issue. Please revisit this as we have no use for the theme w/o that option.

– there are no plugins installed other than the one ‘included’ in the theme installation
– WooCommerce Store Front theme has been installed and tried – it works perfectly with the ‘clear’ option

Please, update the theme to the latest version 7.0.4, and apply the patch 420862 in Dashboard -> Patcher. Let us know if it works for you.
