Click Megamenu

Hello, I have set the megamenu to activate with a click instead of with the mouse.
This causes a very long delay in making it appear and when browsing through the categories, it just does not appear.
Am I doing something wrong? Could you help me?

In video 1 you can see that even after 30 clicks you can’t see the megamenu.
In video 2 you can see that a page left open without touching anything for many minutes, by clicking the megamenu starts as soon as you return to the home page but even in other pages the megamenu configured for clicking doesn’t start.

Thank you for the video! It looks like you’re using a category menu item in the header with the mega menu. When you click on the menu item, it opens the link instead of showing the mega menu.

To fix this, you need to click the small arrow next to the menu item to open the mega menu: https://ibb.co/Y4G34FfD

Alternatively, you can switch to a “hover” mouse event for the menu item to open the mega menu automatically when it is hovered over.

Good morning Aizaz,
even by clicking on the arrow, we go to the link and the menu does not open, I’m trying on Chrome, Safari and Brave.

I don’t want alternatives but that by clicking the megamenu opens.

The fact that this is not the case should be resolved and not find alternatives, is there perhaps something that developers could do?

Hello,

This menu item links to a category page — clicking on it will take you directly to that page. However, clicking on the dropdown arrow next to it will reveal the mega menu.

If you want the mega menu to open when clicking on the menu item itself (not just the arrow), you’ll need to use a Custom Link instead of a category page link.

I saw the video.
Try going to a product and then go back to the home page.

It is absolutely not true, nothing changes or arrow or text, if anything you have to wait for the browser to load the page before the command works.
With Safari 30 seconds.

Maybe do a test and further investigation should be done in my opinion.
Also because you change page or go to a product and the timer restarts sometimes 15 seconds and other times 30 and it is not admissible.

I’ve tested the behavior by navigating to a product page and then returning to the homepage, and everything appears to be working fine on my end.
