Color as Category

Hi there

is it possible to have a category masonry grid like here: https://woodmart-default.myshopify.com/

Only for colors. So every “category” would be a color and would display the numer of products with this color just like with categories.

I have a store where people look for same color items and it would be great to have such an option. Or do you have any ohter idea, besides the color filter in the sidebar on the shop page to have the option for color filtering to show more prominently?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thx in advance

1. Create color categories as per your needs and assign products to the categories accordingly.

SO there is not automated way with the colors I already set?

When I do it your way can I hide the categories so they wont sho on filters etc.?

Hello,

There is no automated way. If you show the Product categories in the widget, these color categories will also be shown.

One more way: assign tags of colors you need to each product.
Next, create a layout similar to Product Categories using row and columns and then by means of promo banner show the tag pages where all the products related to the color will be shown
