sweantonParticipantHello there,
How do I do if I want something like this but with 2 different images side by side?
I have tried changing the background of the column without success.
Sincerely,
AntonJuly 14, 2017 at 4:40 pm #16457
sweantonParticipantAnother quick question. If I want the WMPL flags to be besides the cart like attached image, how do I do that? 🙂

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
Could you please upload a screenshot to the first question less than 512KB?
As for the languages selector, there is no widgets area right after shopping cart widget. If you want to add it there, you may need to customize the header code in the file
inc/template-tags.php

sweantonParticipantHere it is!
So where would you recommend to put the language selection?

Artem TemosKeymasterTry to create a row with two columns and set different images background for both.
As for languages selector, you can add it to the main menu or to the topbar navigation.July 16, 2017 at 4:40 pm #16485
sweantonParticipantI tried that. However it only looks like this. I have tried many different settings.
What should be the correct settings?Attachments:

sweantonParticipantHere it is: http://new.swedishtonic.com
July 17, 2017 at 6:49 am #16511
Artem TemosKeymasterYou need to set background size option to
cover
for both columns.July 17, 2017 at 7:02 am #16512
sweantonParticipantAnd how do I get the full height of the image? And how do I get it full width to the edge of the website?
July 17, 2017 at 8:16 am #16514
Artem TemosKeymasterYou can set the row with columns to “Stretch row” and make it “Full height” also.
July 17, 2017 at 8:37 am #16516
sweantonParticipantThose are the settings I have. Still doesn’t work.

sweantonParticipantAbsolutely! Here it is!
July 17, 2017 at 9:01 am #16519
Artem TemosKeymasterPlease, check how it works now.

sweantonParticipantHello,
Thanks! However the photo is stretched and does not look very good. I want the image to be like it is original.
Sincerely,
AntonJuly 17, 2017 at 2:08 pm #16521
Artem TemosKeymasterWe suggest you to increase original images size to make it look better.
July 17, 2017 at 4:52 pm #16527
sweantonParticipantThe problem is not the image size but the ratio of the image. The image should not be as high as it is now. How do I solve this?
July 17, 2017 at 7:07 pm #16531
Artem TemosKeymasterBut you set the row to be “full height”. And of course, it will be adapted to the screen your website is viewed on. Try to disable this option and set your row height using padding top and padding bottom options.
July 18, 2017 at 8:27 am #16553
sweantonParticipantIt would have made more sense if full height would have been the actual height of the content. I think that most people will think.
The other row where I have 1 image only full height gives the row the height of the image. Just like I want it. Please see previous screenshots.
Why is it like this?July 18, 2017 at 9:27 am #16555
Artem TemosKeymasterBoth rows work in the same way and take the height of the screen. Anyway, it doesn’t depend on our theme at all. You can check how it works with default WordPress theme.
The only one difference between them is that first row has background size option set to
contain
and the second one iscover
. Try to use different ones.Regards
