    When I review the documentation for the Basel theme, it looks to me like it is only compatible up through WordPress 5.0.x. Can someone confirm whether it is compatible with the latest 5.1.1. version of WordPress?

    I think my parent theme is up-to-date…4.6.1.

    Yes, Basel is competitive with WordPress Version 5.1.1
