key5ParticipantHello
will this theme be made compliant to EAA?Unfortunately Italy-based companies with ecommerce websites which are not compliant may be fined from 5000 to 30.000€ or more starting from June 28 2025
Websites must be made browsable by people with disabilities (many kind of).
Thanks.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
You can scan the website for accessibility via Google Insights and see the result.
Currently, you have such a result – https://prnt.sc/UHSEYdV9LgNT
This issue https://prnt.sc/QXtrjQvOwjUv can be fixed by enabling this https://prnt.sc/xtlkooT0fa0k option in Theme Settings -> Others.
This one – https://prnt.sc/jBJyucZC-Ra9 means that you need to change the color of the fields that is shown there.

key5ParticipantHi and thanks.
I am afraid there is much more than that.
Accessibility tool by Page Speed Insight is just the google recommentation, not fully compliant with the EAAhttps://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32019L0882#anx_II

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
The theme doesn’t have any accessibility problems. But the accessibility of your site depends not only on the theme. It depends on many other factors too. If you see any bugs with accessibility in the theme, let us know and we’ll fix them.
Kind Regards

key5ParticipantI am not sayng there are issues.
My suggestion is to implement something like this plugin, https://userway.org/ to make woodmart even more appealing ì, especially starting from June 28 2025.What Wpml did:
https://wpml.org/changelog/2025/04/wpml-4-7-4-accessibility-security-and-fixes/What did they do:
- Updated menus, buttons, and interactive elements for better consistency and clarity
- Improved color and contrast to meet contrast ratio requirements
- Ensured links are visually distinguishable from surrounding text
- Enhanced operability of the language switcher
- Support for resizing text up to 200% without loss of functionality
- Full keyboard accessibility for all interactive elements (buttons, links, and forms)
- More descriptive labels for form fields (not just placeholders)
- Consistent styling for error messages and notifications
– Can the font be switched to OpenDyslexic?
– Is there a function that higlights a portion of the screen for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder patients?
– Is there a mouse switch to version more parkinson-diseased people frendly? Inertia mouse.May 16, 2025 at 12:29 pm #661151
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
