Conditional Message On Checkout Page

Hello,

We use Woodmart Layouts to customise our checkout.

On the original/default woodmart checkout page we could add CSS so that when shipping country was selected as Ireland at checkout a message could be displayed (we can’t post the CSS here as your wordfence plugin stops the publishing of it) however since using the Woomdart checkout layout the code no longer works. Can you advise the issue please?

Okay sure.

The code we normally use to add the shipping country conditional message (for only Ireland) on the checkout page is added using the plugin WPCode snippets. You can see the code in the Code Snippets.

As we use woodmart custom checkout this code no longer works. Can you advise?

We were using a Code Snippet to add some code to the standard Woocommerce checkout so that when the shipping address was set to the country of Ireland a custom message would appear near the payment button to say ‘does not include UK plug’.

As we use Woodmarts layout for the checkout page the code snippet no longer works.

The code we were using is on our website in the code snippets plugin.

You don’t need to use an Ireland VPN to see anything. You just need to select Ireland as a shipping country at checkout?

1. I didn’t see Custom CSS code as you mentioned, only PHP snippets. I checked one of these and it seems you are referring to this snippet but the country code is GB not IE (Ireland) https://ibb.co/1YtTkDwR

2. Also, try to save it as Shortcode https://ibb.co/n5p6N0S and navigate to Layouts > edit the checkout layout and use HTML widget to place the shortcode, because you are using a Custom Product layout.

3. Additional to better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

The active snippets have the correct country IE. See screenshots attached
The shortcode when placed into the Woodmart checkout page affects the layout when using the shortcode widget or doesn’t do anything when using the HTML widget.
The shortcode works okay when the theme is not Woodmart.

First of all, I’m really sorry have taken long time to reply you due to the weekend.

Few customers faced same issue and here solutions we provided which are worked for them.
