Conflict between Woodmart Custom Gallery and YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards

Hello,

I am using the Woodmart theme along with the YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards plugin.

The issue is that on the Gift Card product pages, the product image/gallery disappears immediately after the page loads. I contacted YITH support and they informed me that Woodmart modifies the WooCommerce default gallery scripts and templates, which prevents their plugin from displaying the gift card preview correctly.

Since I want to keep the Woodmart gallery for my regular products, how can I completely disable the Woodmart custom gallery and scripts only for the product type ‘gift-card’?

I need the specific product type to fallback to the default WooCommerce gallery behavior so the YITH plugin can function. Is there a specific hook or a theme setting (per product) to achieve this?

Please check how it works with the default WordPress theme and Woocommerce Storefront theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not. Also, please check the site with our theme but only with the theme default plugins activate, and deactivate all the 3rd party plugins from the site.

If it works fine with the default WordPress theme then provide the admin panel login details of the website to check it myself and help you out accordingly.

We are running a current version of WoodMart but still have the same issue with YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards: the product image/gallery disappears after the Gift Card product page loads.

Hi, thanks for the fast reply. I’ve checked with the default theme – the image/gallery works properly then. The issue occurs when running WoodMart. I’ve shared a one-time login URL. I’ve also shared a product URL to test.

Can you please share the correct login URL? The temporary login URL you provided is not working for me. If possible, please share the Admin username and password in the private content area so I can access the site directly.

We have checked your website and can confirm that this functionality does not work when the Carousel layout is selected for the single product gallery.

To make it work, please go to Theme Settings and select the Grid layout instead: https://monosnap.ai/file/8d6sj0RCol6SjZldrsRwylWzDEZqgD. After that, the functionality should work correctly.

However, please note that changing this setting may also affect the appearance of other products. In this case, we recommend applying this change only to the required product by using the Theme Settings Presets functionality: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-settings-presets/

In the preset conditions, select the corresponding product and specify the ID of this product. This way, the Grid gallery layout will be applied only to that specific product without affecting the rest of your products.
