Jeriss Cloud CenterParticipantDear,
When we click on the product page on the “XX customer reviews” button, it’s supposed to scroll down automatically to the custom reviews tab for showing them all. However, it doesn’t work as intended in the following scenario.
I created staging site as follows :
– TwentyTwenty Theme + WooCommerce => OK
– TwentyTwenty Theme + WooCommerce + jQuery Helper => OK
– Woodmart Theme + Woodmart Core + WooCommerce => OK
– Woodmart Theme + Woodmart Core + WooCommerce + jQuery helper => NOKBasically, after the WordPress removed jQuery in a recent update, thosuands of users were forced to re-install jQuery through some helpers (in my case with this https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/jquery-updater/)
It’s doing its job perfectly, however I noticed your theme isn’t working properly after intalling it. Tough, I don’t think it’s a problem with that plugin => all it’s doing is updating jQuery. On the contrary, it seems your Theme isn’t working properly when jQuery is updated.
See video for more explanation on demo staging. Click on “Download” in the top-right to see video full screen.
Thanks

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
But WordPress didn’t remove the jQuery library in their updates. They still have a jQuery core library and our theme has to support it. We always rely on the jQuery version that comes with WordPress.
Kind Regards

Jeriss Cloud CenterParticipantDear,
?? Yes they did remove jQuery Migrate 1.x from wordpress
https://www.searchenginejournal.com/how-to-fix-wordpress-5-5/378452/#closePlease check the staging site, and make the steps I provided to you in the video
You will find yourself the problem related to your theme. This must be fixed please.
ThanksDecember 4, 2020 at 7:49 am #247617
Artem TemosKeymasterjQuery migrate is not equal to the jQuery library. Our theme doesn’t require the migrate script. And works well even without it.
We don’t know why it doesn’t work with that plugin you install but it works correctly with the default WordPress jQuery library that we rely on.Regards

Jeriss Cloud CenterParticipantDear,
Why don’t you even check first! I provided you clear explanation + video showing the problem. At least have a look first before rejecting it ! You clearly see in the video it’s THEME related! And jquery migrate will be back innext 5.6 verson of wordpress so you MUST remain compatible with this.
Thanks

Artem TemosKeymasterYour video shows that it doesn’t work when you install the third party plugin, not with just the WordPress theme. Probably, that plugin conflicts with our theme. But it is not a bug with our theme and WordPress.

Jeriss Cloud CenterParticipantYes it’s a third-party plugin that is JUST RESTORING JQUERY MIGRATE that was removed in WP5.5 !!! Your theme has to remain be compatible with this because jQuery Migrate will come back in WP5.6 so you MUST FIX this compatibility bug within your theme !!!
And NO it’s not specific to that plugin because I tried other similar plugins and they brought the exact same results ! So please just STOP telling me that it’s due third-party plugin, it’s due to YOUR THEME as those plugins SIMPLY bring back this jQuery Migrate which is being used in MILLIONS of WP websites! Now enough and fix this in your theme please!

Artem TemosKeymasterWe keep our theme compatible with the current version of WordPress. If they will return this in the next update, we will check the compatibility and it will be fixed if some problem occurs.
But now, it is a third party plugin and it might be incompatible with our theme. But our theme is fully compatible with the latest version of WordPress.December 4, 2020 at 1:33 pm #247832
